1. The short version

Be cool. Don't cheat the challenges, don't steal the art, don't upload stuff you don't own. Eat food, have fun, fight hunger.

2. Who owns what

The Bite Me Food Challenge Crew characters — Beefcake, Slice, Crunch, FRANKYN, GOLDEN, TOSSED, TURPEDO, DECKER, B-Wing, Scoville, Smokey, Captain Catch, Wasabi, Sunny, Sugar Rush, Mega Meal, Al Dente, Wok Star, Bao, Sprinkles, and the new recruits — including all artwork, names, and designs, are the exclusive property of The Bite Me Challenge. So are the site's text, graphics, logos, videos, and music.

THE BITE ME CHALLENGE and the character names are trademarks of The Bite Me Challenge (registrations pending). Don't use them on your own merch, in your business name, or in a way that suggests you're us.

You may share our pages and videos with friends (that's what the share buttons are for). You may not copy, reproduce, or sell our characters or artwork without written permission.

3. Your content

Photos and other content you upload (like attempt photos) are yours. By uploading, you give us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display them on the site and our social channels as part of running the challenge. You promise you own what you upload or have permission to share it — no strangers' photos, no copyrighted images.

When you create an account, we ask you to confirm this permission — it is part of signing up — and the upload form asks again each time you share a photo.

4. Playing fair

Challenge attempts must be real. Faked attempts, multiple accounts to farm points, or gaming the leaderboard will get accounts removed and points forfeited. Restaurants run their own challenges; we record results after the fact. Eat at your own risk — know your limits, and don't attempt anything dangerous.

5. Points and charity

Bite Points have no cash value and can't be sold or transferred. Charity donations made through points are handled as described on the site. We keep records of every donation.

6. Takedowns

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, contact us through the contact page with: (1) what was infringed, (2) where it is on our site, (3) your contact info, and (4) a good-faith statement. We'll review promptly.

7. The legal bit

This site is provided "as is." We're not liable for what happens at a restaurant's challenge — that's between you and the restaurant. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
